Galleywood v Harold Hill

Galleywood v Harold Hill  at Clarkes Field in the Essex Olympian Premier Division.

I had a bit of difficulty finding this ground but it was well worth the effort.

There is car parking facilities along the lane and by the club house. The pitch is fully railed off, with a few advertising hoarding's.

Galleywood have been having a bit of a renaissance of late but it seemed today was not going to be their say.

Harold Hill dominated the first half but at half time they only had one goal to show for their efforts scored by Jay Nash on 41 minutes.

Half time 0-1

The second half was a different story as the 'Wood upped their game it was end to end stuff and thoroughly enjoyable.
Dowsett equalised near the end of the match Mackory winning it in injury time for the wood.

Galleywood 2 - Harold Hill 1

Renaissance continues....

Attendance - Forgot to take a head count but it was the largest attendance in the Olympian League this season.

Programme good

and food available in Club House.
